There is actually a difference between Devotion and Passion. Not the literal meaning, but more of the understanding of the word in a more layman way. I say this, kinda like a reflection of what i did for tutoring.
I am doing 2 different tutoring session for 2 difference primary schools on 2 different days.
From my observations, i finally understood the difference between devotion and passion. Having passion in the activity doesnt guarantee that a person will devote more resources into the activity. Of course there are the people who lack passion, doing things for the sake of doing. I truly pity such people who actually force unpleasant stuff upon themselves. If you dont enjoy what you are doing at the moment, den might as well dont do it. Why put yourself through pain just to get a few hours of cip? I know im not really qualified to criticise anyone and their methods of teaching the kids, but the attitude, sometimes is despicable. The urge to get out asap, the impatience in teaching the less academically-able kids.
The friends that i work with on sat are really nice people who really noe how to go about doing the proj. For that im grateful to know such pleasant people, who can truly understand, even if they are doing things half-heartedly, which i really doubt and would hardly even think of questioning their sincerity.
Its from the actions that show how much effort is devoted into teaching the kids. Once I never had the opportunity of being tutored in primary school or secondary school, much less now in jc. however, seeing the kids understand concepts brings about a sense of achievement. although it is not really tangible. But being able to help is fulfilling. Having the passion to teach kids, but not understanding the kid and just wanted to pack up and go once ure done is not really passion. You like it, doesnt mean ull giv up things to do it. But if you're devoted, ull do it no matter what it takes.
I am not too sure if i had made a difference yet, but i am putting in effort to make that change occur. :D
Now enough of the rambling, shall go and do some work i guess.. before i get owned tml. LOL.

But now huangcheng is like MAXXED OUT, everyone is pushing their hardest!
But with everything happening, im not sure to feel sad, angry, happy, emo or just pure SIAN.
People are getting sick.. and i really wish they get well soon.
I hav no idea how to start... so ill leave it for my next post... which would most likely be after huangcheng? D:

Yesterday was a tired day, PLUS an uber emo night. End up early this morning very tired. None the less i finished summarising the key concepts for physics blocks. *claps*
But i still haven finish math. zzz. DIED. Imma start econs the moment i finish this blog post. :D
I have just returned from VT, to see my juniors. And guess what.. IM DAM PROUD OF THEM.. totally got the know-how to do whatever they need to do. And they get the chance to use a professional theatre at secondary school level.. something that i didnt manage until college. *sigh* I guess 不同人有不同命.
Cabbed to VT with shien yang, haha, was epic funny on the way thou. He was saying all about tahan mountain trekking being joke and OAC being 24-7 tekan camp. In preparation for gunung tahan, those ppl from tahan go to gunung ayam.. which is chicken mountain. They shien yang was explaining all the malay terms. Epic funny.
Then in VT, the SM actually jumped across the barricade on stage. Like omgwtfbbq? the STAGE MANAGER (the biggest dude in the theatre) jump over stuff that arent supposed to be jumped over.. the commentary from shien yang was still the best. Quote: " if he hit the lights on the floor, his balls will b fried". HAHAH. Then thers another dude.. he dint hav long pants.. so what do you do? Wear bermudas with ultra long black socks.. DAM FREAKING JOKE. totally LMAO. However, I just went to check out the lx board and sounds, so no biggie. Need to mug, so i left the moment all the guest are seated and the show started. Leave from projection room luhh.. so im not spoiling the show. :D
Thats all from me atm. MUGGING TIME!
